This time next month, Miss Anna will be celebrating her Quinceanera. That is, her fifteenth birthday – her “coming of age” party. For the party, Anna needs a fabulous portrait, so she had a photography session with Hector Contreras, Kirksville, Missouri’s premier portrait photographer for high school seniors, children, and weddings. As Anna’s Quinceanera cinematographer, I went along for her hair, makeup, and nails session at the local beauty salon, Color Me Red, documenting the transition from fresh-faced fourteen-year-old, to fifteen-year-old young lady, then we all went to Hector’s studio for the portrait session. This video footage will become part of Anna’s final Quinceanera DVD movie.
